Obsession kills

I feel like wanna puke seeing those obsessed couples on Facebook.

Day and night send they-think-so-sweet comments.

Day and night post up status like "I love you sooo much! Muahxx!"

Duhh....

I know la you love your bf/gf so much.

Miss him/her till like wanna die.

If want tell or show your love oso do in private la.

Don't you know all your friends can read your status???

And, it's ok if it's once in a while.

But every morning, every afternoon, every evening, every night.

So wtf....

Updates. Period

When out with the girls yesterday night.

Started our journey around 6PM.

First stop was TESCO.

The girls bought stuffs for their Cameron trip.

I bought stuffs for Mid-sem break.

Next we wanted to eat Kaki Ayam,

but the stall was closed.

So we proceed to Tauge Ayam at Low Wong.

I sempat beli makeups. XD

Mascara, eyeshadows, eye crayon, eyeliner and brush.

Then, we went for dessert at Tong Shui Kai.

Our favourite desserts of all time.

I tapao-ed one packet back to UTP.

After having dessert,

we headed back to UTP.

Was already almost 11.30PM.

Lights off.

Lagi lagi :D

Went to Tronoh for dinner with the girls.
Ate till super full till I almost vomited.
Came back to my room and felt bloated.
Okay, not the right time to bath.
I was not in the mood to study either.
So I looked at the makeup case Wan Linnie darling just lend me.
There comes the evil grin. ;)
Makeup time!

This time I tried a little more natural look.
And I took step by step pictures.
I want it to look natural but I accidently drawn the eye liner too dark. wtf
So here goes the before and after. :)

Clean your face. Clear the pores.
Wipe away all the dirts and dust. lol

Apply concealer or cover stick.
I am using 2 tones because my skin tone is uneven.
Lighter one for dark spots and darker one for other areas.
I focused on my dark eye bags.

Use a sponge or your finger to blend the concealer.
Make it even, especially to cover your dark rings around the eyes.
For example, me.

There, after I finished blending the concealer.
Skin tone now looks more even.

Apply conpact powder in minimum amount.
Make sure it is even.

Apply loose powder with a brush.
Focus on the heart shape on your face.
The T-zone and the cheeks.
Apply in the sign of "infinity".

Apply eyeliner on the lower eye lids.
I used black colour.
For larger and brighter eyes effect, use white.

Apply minimum amout of eyeshadow.
For natural look, use natural colour.
I used dark brown and yellowish brown.

Apply liquid eyeliner.
for most natural look, avoid making it too thick.
I accidently smooched mine.
Lazy to wipe off, so I drew it larger to cover up the smooch. wtf

Now this is the most tricky part.
I am terribly bad in drawing brows.
So instead, I used brown colour and make it light.
To avoid looking funny with out-of-shaped brows.

Before applying mascara, use the curler.
Many thought that the right way is to use mascara 1st.
It's not.
Using mascara 1st will spoil your eye lashes.

After using the eyelash curler,
then use mascara.
Make sure to hold it parallel to your lashes.

To make an illusion of sharper nose,
draw the shadow on both sides.
Blend it so that the linings are not obvious.

Apply light blusher to avoid looking like a clown.
Swipe the brush upwards of your cheeck bones,
and blend in cicles on your cheeks.

Lastly, apply lipstick or lip gloss,
or both.

......................................................................................................

.................................................................................

...........................................................

...................................

....................

.........

.....

..

These are 3 pictures I took after the makeups.
I looked like a ghost because of the direct lighting for my table lamp.
Pardon me.

p/s 1 : I was NOT naked.
For prove, look in the 2nd picture. tq

p/s 2 : I have unequal eyes size in nature.
So no comment on that please.

Make Ups vs Games

I just came back from 2 meetings,
which were held at the same time and same venue.
Of course I prioritize one before the other.
I wasn't feeling tired after the meetings,
but there were some kinda confusion in my mind.
With Moral presentations and Moral quiz tomorrow.
Plus the need to wake up at 6.30am tomorrow,
in order to reach Ipoh before 7.30am to make our passports.
In so much constrain,
I suddenly had the feeling to do make ups.
Yes, MAKE UPS.
It was already 12.30am by then,
and my friends thought I was crazy.
I suddenly thought of it as a new way to release tension,
just like how guys did with their games.
But of course my way maybe more costly.
I even managed to cam whore after the make up session. wtf

Freaking weird smile with my whole upper braces showing.

Here you can see clearly that I learned to make my nose look a lil sharper.
The actual way is to apply dark eye shadow at the sides and blend it.
But since I only have glittery eye shadow, I used eyebrow liner instead.
And used cotton bud to blend it. :D

For the eyes, I used 2 types of blue.
Dark blue for the edges and light blue at the center.
I also added light blue beside the dark blue edges for more dramatic look.
I used pencil eyeliner for lower lids and liquid for upper lids.

It has been so long since I applied make ups.
And this look (drmatic blue) is a lil too over for daily use.
For natural make ups, avoid too thick foundation and eyeshadow.

p/s : I think it's time for me to trim my eye brows.
Anyone can help? :D

Logo-ism

Just a while ago I was browsing through all the display pictures of those on gtalk.
At first only one or two had their high school logo as their display pictures.
Then came another two or three.
I thought they did it for fun, since they are all from the same gang.
After that I found out even the seniors had their high school logos as their display pictures.
Some even had their school motto as their shoutouts.
So I went to ask one of my friend why is everyone displaying their high school logos?
She said it is a so called "minggu logo sekolah" - seriously just for fun.
So I searched for mine and pun it on my gtalk as well. haha..
Utpians, time for you to display yours. :D

Day out, Cash out

Went down to Ipoh this afternoon with Jeremy. So there goes my cash. Had the initial intention just to get my laptop fixed and buy new pair of sandals, not slippers, because my old one I bought from (shop of shoes) SOS in Kuching almost a year ago is almost totally worn off. First stopped at Batu Gajah, added 2G RAM to my laptop, was very costly for 2G but not that we had much choice. I just knew from the salesman that Windows XP actually does not work well with Compaq laptops, where if installed with Windows XP, there maybe network or sound problem. Which I actually did had network problem when previously I was using Windows XP. He also said that 1G RAM I had was only the minumum requirement and for my laptop, it was not sufficient. After adding 2G RAM, at last my Physical memory dropped from 90% to 40%. After upgrading my laptop's RAM, we went to Greentown Mall. Jeremy went to Digi Centre to change his call plan to D'campus. Right, he wants to sms me for free, the reason why previously he did not really reply my messages or call me is because his previous call plan was expensive. Hmmm... At the same time, I went to shop for footwear. That old pair of SOS I bought in Kuching had been loyal to me. It had followed me all over Kuching during my semester break, follow me back to my village and got tortured by my lil cousins, followed me to lectures, to shopping malls, to the cafeterias, even to the toilets. The new pair of sandal is black and strapped, unlike the old one which is bronze and open toes. But since I bought it for lecture, I make sure there are no heels or 1/2 inch at most. Besides, to take the place of my loyal wedges, which I bought when I was selected to go for PETRONAS Educamp, I also bought a 3 1/2 inches purple strapped heels. The sad thing about me buying footwear is I can never find the right size, being a petite with feet sized 3, or for some brands, even 3 is too large. The only thing I can do is to buy those cheap shoes, made in Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Thailand or Indonesia. Pathetic cause I can never fit in those branded shoes, except if I get them tailored made. The reason is Asians tend to have smaller feet size compared to the Westerns, so just like the cheap sandals and heels, size 4 is just right. The only so called branded foot wear for ladies with size 3 currently is Vincci, which their designs are not so of my taste. I had another 4 inches heels back home, size 3 from Evado. Imagine how happy I was to find heels of size 3 from another brand besides Vincci. I was quite lucky cause size 3 was only for that particular design, which I love. After that I never see any more size 3 heels. I bought most of my ballerina flats from some China or Thailand Made, and one even from the Children department. of Evado Having such small size feet, I had troubles looking for fully covered and peep toes heels. I can never walk in them without padding even for size 3. Exactly, I need size 2 for fully covered and peep toes heels. Guess I am not destinied to own them, until I found one, and I am still looking. :D Besides buying 2 pairs of footwear, I bought a blusher made from Taiwan. Make ups from Japan and Taiwan are just great, but please do not compare them to Anna-Sui, Shiseido, Stage or MAC. For affortable make ups, the blusher is quite vibrant and long lasting. By the way, the brand is Mei Linda. Yea, one of the reason I bought it is because of the name. Now the only thing missing is more eye shadows. XD That's all for now. Study time. Moral presentation, Moral quiz and Talent Search's Family Day on this coming Friday. ONE more week till Inter Campus Gathering and Mid-Sem break, I'm excited.

It used to be like that

I used to be different, I used to be...not me. XD

Only one or two knew my real self but things changed.

Yet, not many knew I've changed.

Sometimes I miss my old self but I knew I've changed for good.

It makes me wonder.

Why is it human nature, to do something bad,

though you knew it from the beginning?

I thought,

why are men given temptations and choices,

when we are supposed to do just the rights?

Weird isn't it?

But I believe everything happen for a reason.

I may not have enough faith in Him.

Just like others of different religions or free thinkers,

we still have believes, which is to believe in our own self.

Even without religion,

we know what is right and what is wrong.

Religion is just a guide for us to lead a better life,

to fear if we do something bad.

I am not born in a Christian family.

My Mum became a chirstian when she was in college,

my Dad is a free thinker until today.

It's useless to force someone to believe what he don't.

I was baptised when I was in form4.

I never go for Sunday schools or read the Holy Bible.

But my family go to church once in a while,

even my Dad followed, he try to learn about God's words.

I put my faith more in Him these days.

How much hardships I faced,

I knew there must be something behind those.

Perhaps He wants me to learn and experience.

I did my first Bible sharing last Friday during prayer meeting.

I was of course nervous.

I have shallow knowledge on the Bible,

I never shared Gospel in public.

I did The Book of Revelation on the 7 Trumpets.

Before prayer meet, I studied the whole chapter.

Read over twice.

I don't really get it on some parts,

but I do understand God has something to inform us.

I tried to share what I knew,

and hopefully the others gain something from it.

Though it was not so accurate and maybe misleading. XD

For our love to God and human kind.

Cheers!

Irreplaceable

It was like those usual days I try to get naps after strainning my eyes in front of my laptop for the whole afternoon. The weather was warm, but cooler than the usual weather in my Uni. I was lying on my bed, with the alarm already set at 7.30PM. I forced myself to wake up an hour later for dinner and shower. Tonight, we are going to prepare our own meal - pasta. I was not sure whether I slept well. I heard my phone ringing and thought my alarm rang, you know how people can get blurry when they just woke up. I pressed the answer button to switch off the alarm. Then I saw "Daddy" written on the screen. It was my Dad who called. I had no choice but to answer the call this time. Yes, usually I just ignore it when I am sleeping. Mum was the one who wanted to talk to me, asked me about my studies, I told them it is not easy, asked about my midterm break, told them I got all planned. They hung up then.

I was already wide awake after talking to my Mum. Like any other mothers, she asked non -top questions and gave tonnes of advises. I tried to get back to sleep but to no vail. I held my phone in my hand and started browsing through some old pictures in my gallery. It was then the memory suddenly strucked me. I scrolled to the Messaging icon and typed a message to him, "Dear, u remember dat time we went out by bus when we're still not couple... U asked me to lean on your shoulder to sleep but I was too shy to say yes.. Haha." He replied, "Yeah, I do remember hehe. The following time we went out, u finally leaned on me. Hehe." Iregreted not leaning on him that day cause after that my neck was aching and he actually teased me. We went out a few times as friends, and there were these awkward moments we had. The memories came back all of a sudden. How he first asked me out, how we first held each other hands, how we used to star gaze together... After the arguments we had lately, things seemed to start a new. I realized how much he meant to me and the memories cannot be wiped out just in a blink. We had too much to let it go so easily.

Suddenly I heard noises from outside. Pufff, my mind went blank. But I know the memories will stay, and from day to day I will still remember, what we had together were irrepaceable.

Game of Love

I am sorry I need to do this.

I know it hurts you much.

I knew it will hurt you more than I can imagine.

But that is all I can do to stop you from winning.

I hate losing.

You must be stopped.

I had tried so long.

Perhaps you now knew how useless it is.

Hopefully you realized.

Love is like a game.

When you lost, that is the end.

You shall need to start from the beginning.

But then, you experienced.

You learnt, apply it and move a little further each time.

If the players tolerate, the game lasts forever.

But we can never play the game together.

I am not your opposition.

You do not need me.

I know you can do better without me.

It will be just fine if you understand better.

It will be better if you made the right move.

Checkmate.

Expectations? Think.

When they could not give us what we want,

or when they give us more than what we want,

is it time to find the one who gives us just right?

Think.

Pillow talks

It had been long since I last had heart to heart talks with the girls.

Since I came to UTP, everyone seemed to keep everything to themselves.

Practically everyone, including me.

It would be either talking over the phone or over the net with someone back home,

for some of the girls.

But not me. I like doing it face to face, looking at their expressions as they talk.

I miss all those pillow talks with my cousins.

We talked about most stuffs on those cute korean guys, our parents, uni life...

For the 3rd semester I had been in UTP, more than a year now.

It was only this semester that I thought there are stuffs that I need to tell someone.

Yeah, it all started weeks ago.

When I decided to tell Wan Lin about what I was facing.

I would cry then laugh and so on.

But I felt better after we talked.

Then me and Michelle had heart to heart talk last night.

I was shocked she is almost similar to me, since we were never really close.

But that's how we bond.

And then it snapped into my mind,

that most girls want what I want in relationships.

We have similar needs and simlar sensitivity and similar rebels,

and our live are quite like "Boys over Flower" and "Gossip Girls".

I thought I was over reacting and demanding something extra from him.

It was until all those pillow talks,

I found out some who are just friends to me,

are actually similar to who I am and understands me.

And yeah, I love them tonnessss! :D

End the night

Just got back from Talents Search Adjudication Department first meeting. Me and 2 other committees are assigned to look for judges and the other 3 guys including him are assigned to look for guest artist(s). We are free to accept any suggestions of artist(s) you would like to perform live during the Talents Search 2009 finale. But of course we shall need to consider the budgets because the whole organizing team is still made up of students. Hehe... Any suggestions of judges or artist, preferably in Perak, you can just post up a comment on the post. ^^

wasting my time

Now I know why my bro earns more from his blog.
He writes controversial stuffs.
He writes bull shits, just like his blog title.
And people now a days love reading craps.
But I don't write bull shits on my blog. *Sigh*
And I don't plan to start either.
The bull shits may affect my brains cells,
making me difficult to answer my Academic Writing paper later,
and when asked what's my rank of English out of 10 in interviews,
I won't wanna drop from my current 8-9 to 4-5.
Btw, he is full of crap himself.
I usually don't understand what he's talking about,
neither my parents could, ask my youngest bro.
Not sure whether he is semi genius, out of his mind or just superb creative,
either one, the symptomsmare still 'strange behaviours'.
Okay, am I expressing my jealousy over here?? wtf

Pon and Zi..?

During 30 hour Famine
Her : "I love you."
Him : "actually I miss you."
Her : "but we're not supposed to see each other right?"
Him : "nevermind la, it's unavoidable"
(conversation cut off because both were too busy)

After 30 hour Famine
Him : "tonight got CSS meeting."
Her : "O...how's your vacation?"
Him : "can I come back to you dy?"
Her : "=.="
Him : "seriously miss you."
Her : "so fast? not up to 3 days"
Him : "I suck I admit."
Her : "I love you lots."
Him : "I love you too, really."
Her : "I'm sorry I make you lost your patience."
Him : "I'm sorry to treat you so badly."
Her & Him : " :) "

Sometimes even when we get used to the worst, we'll miss it.
And little misunderstandings though they hurt so much, is not going to change anything.
God is true, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the truth. It always... protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." -1 Corinthians 13:4-

Thanks to dearest Wan Lin for all the advices.
Though I suffered alot while waiting,
I followed God's words and it lead to something better. <3

Life is like drama

I just realized my life is like a korean drama.

Okay, like Boys over Flowers.

I'm not sure whether I was watching too much of it.

But when I love this guy so much and is willing to do anything for him,

but he asked me to wait for him.

And there is this other guy who kept waiting for me,

even though he knew how much I love another.

Even how well he treated me,

I still deeply love the one who asked me to wait for him.

The only thing is the two don't know each other.

It felt so weird when my life came to be also similar,

to one of my favourite drama.

Uhhhh....

This is when "life is like a drama",

and I'm the lead actress comes.

Boys like Girls

I had been mourning for 48 hours.

I had been sleeping for 16 hours.

Got this feverish feeling, and nausea.

I skipped a whole day of lectures.

I skipped 2 breakfast, 2 lunch and soon 2 dinner.

At last I got someone to talk to.

Wan Lin was here and we talked.

She was a good listener, love her loads.

She said it's normal.

She faced the same before, even my other girlfriends.

Girls ARE extra sensitive.

And boys ARE not understanding enough.

That's what we concluded.

And that's what caused all the misunderstandings.

Moreover, you're from a convent school.

The space you wanted, I'll give you.

Hope you'll soon figure.

Love you, always.

Thanks to my girls who are always there for me.

You help me to forget what I'm facing.

Love ya all~

p/s : just a lil more till I complete it, pls wait...

A promise

"This I Promise You" - 'N SYNC

Ohh ohh...

When the visions around you,
Bring tears to your eyes
And all that surround you,
Are secrets and lies
I'll be your strength,
I'll give you hope,
Keeping your faith when it's gone
The one you should call,
Was standing here all along..

And I will take
You in my arms
And hold you right where you belong
Till the day my life is through
This I promise you
This I promise you

I've loved you forever,
In lifetimes before
And I promise you never...
Will you hurt anymore
I give you my word
I give you my heart (give you my heart)
This is a battle we've won
And with this vow,
Forever has now begun...

Just close your eyes (close your eyes)
Each loving day (each loving day)
I know this feeling won't go away (no..)
Till the day my life is through
This I promise you..
This I promise you..

Over and over I fall (over and over I fall)
When I hear you call
Without you in my life baby
I just wouldn't be living at all...

And I will take (I will take you in my arms)
You in my arms
And hold you right where you belong (right where you belong)
Till the day my life is through
This I promise you baby

Just close your eyes
Each loving day (each loving day)
I know this feeling won't go away (no..)
Every word I say is true
This I promise you

Every word I say is true
This I promise you
Ooh, I promise you...

p/s : This time, I promise things will be better. I'm sorry.

"I will never forget the day I stood beside your window,
sheding my tears quietly,
hoping that you will come next to it,
and just have a glimpse of me,
just know that I was there waiting for you."

Here, there. Where?

Had our first Physical Geology lab session yesterday.
Well, actually we DON'T have a lab sesion for Physical Geology.
Just that the lecturerS want us to take closer look at the rock types.
Physical Geology being very closely connected with the Earth,
which means of course we need to get IN CONTACT with what we are studying,
in order to enhance our understanding.
I was not really sure whether we learnt much,
cause we were actually having fun and was excited about all the AMAZING rock types.
We were given a box of 12 rock types to be identified,
and I had a sudden thought of making it a tag in Facebook.
Check it out on my Taggies album in Facebook.

Besides that, we also sempat take lots and lots of pictures.
Some are too silly to be shown here,
you can visit Amrith's photo album on Facebook for more details.

Group photo. From left,
Kamilla, Saddam, Amrith, Me and Mark.

My Dad should soooo see what am I doing now.
I can't believe that when I was 5 or 6 years old,
I saw these rocks in my Dad's office.
He even had his collections at home,
which I used to prevent my papers from flying away. lol
And I even grew up reading his geology books,
which I don't quite get it till today.
I grew up listening to his stories about fossils,
the rocks and soils types when we go on family trips.
He would tell us which types of soils are good for housing area,
which types are suitable for what kinda plants...
I will never forget him talking bout the "plateau",
which can be seen everytime we drive back to my Mum's village.
I always think that the plateau is something really amazing.
It never came through my mind that one day I will persue the same field.
It never came through my mind that his whole shelf of books will benefit me.
(I always thought they were NOTHING
cause I never expect myself to study Geology. lol)
Even my parents never thought so.
They never even hope so much for a scholarship.
When I was younger, I was almost immune by the word Doctor and Medical.
It was never really my ambition,
but that was what I was made to believe, that I HAVE to be a doctor.
But I guess it is fated that things go the other way,
the totally opposite way.
I was grateful I am not in a medical field,
cause all my friends knew how afraid I am towards needles,
and that I can't bear looking at serious wounds.
If I was to heal, I would tear before I even get to treat the patient.
I'm glad my parents are being fully supportive,
even when I asked whether I should drop Engineering and go for Geoscience. :D

That's how life goes so far.
Well, so far so good.
Except some DE quizes which I screwed.
And Intro to Oil & Gas lectures which I skipped.
And Academic Writing classes which I dreamt in.
And Physical Geo lectures which I was totally lost in.
And Rotaract AGM I need to skip due to Cocu.

I guess that's all bout it for now.
Tonight, something BIG. *winks*
Tomorrow night, something BIGGER. *tripple winks*
This Friday night, Semarak Mawadah Family Day.
This Saturday, Famine 30 hour.
Next Monday, Intro to Oil & Gas test 1.
Next Wednesday, Differential Equations test 1.

p/s : My Mum asked me to go back during Raya hoilday.
I knew my parents won't mind whatever the flight tickets prices are.
But I just dislike travelling up and down, i.e UTP to Ipoh to KL to Airport.
Is the ICG camp still on? Should I follow the girls to Cameron?
Will my decision to stay back make my Mum worried?
I'm undecided. I've yet to go home for 3 mid-sem breaks in a row.
So...apa macam??
