Something Happened Today
It started when she received a call from
her parents
An urgent call telling her about the check
she just received
Her parents talked to her seriously about
whether she should open an account
He saw her talking on the phone seriously
He questioned her who is she talking with
while she was still on the phone
She gave him a signal to keep quiet
She softly told him she was talking to
her parents
He was still suspicious because he had
not seen her talked that way to her parents
She did not know he was suspicious
They took dinner together
But they did not talk to one another
Unlike other days when they teased
one another
She still did not know that he was upset
about what happened
She thought there was nothing wrong
because she told him the truth
The one and only truth
That she was on the phone with
her parents
She asked him to buy her a drink
While waiting
She read some of his inbox messages
The first few was not from her
They were from his ex girlfriend
She began to feel uneasy
Even she did not read the
sent messages
The inbox messages shown that he
did replied the messages
She put the phone back to the original
position before he came back
Throughout he was in silent
She thought he saw her reading
his messages
She tried to act normal
As if nothing had happened
As if she did not saw the messages
from his ex girlfriend
She wondered but kept everything
to herself
She tried hard to understand why
he was so angry
When he found out she and her ex
are still friends
She said “why can’t exs be friends?”
Yet he got mad
Since then she never talked to
her ex anymore
She respected him
Because of what she said before
She remained silence after seeing
the messages from his ex
She assumed that they are
only friends
She smiled and bit him farewell
after the dinner
He messaged her
“I’m still suspicious about who
you actually talked to??”
She then understood why was he
in silence during the dinner
Not because he saw her looking
at his messages
But because he did not believe her when
she said it was her parents who called
Something happened today
He did not trust her when she said
it was a call from her parents
She even gave him her parents phone
number so that he can ask her parents
But
She trusted him enough
Not to question anything about
the messages from his ex
She trusts him enough to assume
that they are just friends and not more
Eventhough
He never gave her an explanation
Eventhough
He never told her his status with
his ex girlfriend
Till then
She will remain silence
Cause she trusts him enough
Cause she was hurt enough of
him always not trusting her
He said he was sorry
But it happened
It hurts and scar formed
Something happened today
But she will just remain in silence
Just like always

I knew u read this post.. U always say "sorry" to her.. And she will always say "it's ok & no prob" to you..She'll always remain in silence & smile to you..and ignoring how much you hurt her, not keeping any grunge..
