What a pretender does..

He was there,

Sending a message to his close friend..

She was there,

asking whether she can take
a look at some of his pictures..

He looked at her and showed
her the screen of his phone..

The message was not being sent yet..

She said she'll see after he sent the message..

After few minutes,

She asked again whether she
can take a look at the pictures..

He said "wait.."...

After a few minutes..

She asked again..

Again,

He said "wait.."

It seemed like forever..

So she gave up...

All of a sudden,

He asked her to turn on her Bluetooth..

She did ask was told..

He sent all his pictures to her..

Again,

She said she want to take a look
at the pictures from his phone herself..

He said "I know what you want to do!"

It was harsh,

A knife suddenly pierced into her heart..

She was a pretender,

She continued smiling and
pretended that everything's fine..

She was not told what he thought
she want to do with his phone..

But she guessed that he thought she
want to take a look at his messages..

It was terrible..

But she was a great pretender..

She smiled and talked to her friends like usual..

Joked like usual even though the
unseen wound in her heart was bleeding..

She wanted to cry,

But she kept everything to herself..

She don't want to be sissy in public..

She want him to be happy thinking she was fine..

Again..

She wondered..

Why cant she even touch his phone..

She knew it was his privacy..

But what is wrong looking at
his pictures or contacts only..

The more she wondered,

The deeper the cut..

The more blood came out of the wound..

She reached her hostel and
sat in her room alone..

In the dark..

She did not cry,

She knew she has to be tough..

He'll never understand why she's doing this..

But she will continue being a pretender..

Pretend that she's fine,

and make him happy...

She knew it's crazy..

But she too,

knew that her life will not be long..

And she'll live only once..

All she can do is suffer,

But smile through other peoples' smiles...
