My dream destination

Talking about destination,

all I can think of is vacation and sweet escape from work load.

I prefer somewhere I can relax myself rather than shopping or theme parks.

1. Hawaiian Island



I study a lot on the Hawaiian Island chain, the hot spots and all those.
So I would love to witness the geological structure myself.

Just wanna witness the sakura flower and the culture there.

My Dad pursued his study there for 4-5 years.
Would love to bring him to travel there again.

My 2 months long semester break will be a month to go

and we have all planed out!

1st week sweet escape to A'famosa Resort, Malacca.

Next 1 month spend my time with my family and friends back home.

From 6-21 July will be going on road trip to whole Sarawak.

Sarawak is my birthplace but who cares cause

I haven't even went to few divisions.

Plus, my West Malaysian friends are going over

so we'll have great time together!

Some of them travelling first time by flight so our

(me & roomie from Bintulu, Clare) advice was to travel on MAS!

Coincidentally I just bought my flight back to Kuching, Sarawak yesterday.

Yes, I am a big fan of MAS (compared to AirAsia, oppss sorry)

Though it is more expensive and I'll arrive at midnight 12am,

I will still go for Malaysia Airlines (MAS) :D

And to ease all travellers,

MAS introduced MAS traveller!!

It comes in great packages!! me love :)

They introduce budget destinations to budget travellers,

for example students like me! :P

Other travellers also share they travelling experiences

My version of grooming tips

When talking about grooming,

all I can think of is your dress code, hair do and make ups.

Mind you, it applies to both guys and girls.

My Uni has this event called Corporate Grooming.

It is an event who teach you how to dress up,

how to talk in public and all those table manners.

And we have catwalk by students as well.

Like all those grooming or make over session,

it cost a lot so mostly those run kids join it.


My tips (simple as abc 123) :

1. make sure you wear the proper attire for the right occasion

- you can dress like lady gaga for a costume party or celebrities theme party,
but of course not for interview or sport

2. just make your hair neat

- you don't need a whole container of wax or a whole can of mousse.
just comb them or cut them short (for guys) to ease you.
girls can just tie them in a neat bun, it will look presentable enough.

3. stay not more than 30cm from the mirror

- you need to check clearly whether you still have shit on your eyes,
or bits of food in between your teeth (cause I wear braces & I know better),
shit hanging from your nose and so on.

4. put on some make ups if needed

- warning : please do not ever try to be like a clown.
I did few tutorials on make up, I feel like a clown,
but I never wear them out XD

My Favourite Sport

If the bf reads this he would be killing me,

so let's just hope he won't read my blog these few days.

As you can see, in the previous post also I sort of talk bad about him.

The fact is actually I don't do sports.

I want to jog but the jogging track in so far from my dorm.

I want to swim but everytime I have the mood the swimming pool is closed.

I want to play squash but the limited courts are always full of pro players.

I want to play tennis but I do not have that much stamina.

I want to play badminton but again the courts always full.

I want to play table tennis (pingpong) but no partner and I suck.

I am kaki bangku so I don't play futsal or football.

I am tangan bangku (if there's such word)

so I don't play volleyball or basketball.

So the bf is always forcing me to do sports, whatever it is.

He is a freaky big fan of futsal, like no futsal can die.

But of course I always have a way to escape, but my classes usually end late.

I do exercise everyday, I walk to lectures everyday.

That is enough to kill me, I can sweat more than playing squash.

And for Christ sake I am already so thin,

imagine if I exercise much.

I know people say do sports make you fit and not thin.

But how can you be fit if you are fat or obese?

I don't want to get any thinner than I am right now.

You are fat, whoever you are and I don't care.

Just let me know how you got fat.

Fine, I am out of topic.

Let's get back.

Since there are so many sports I am bangku (read : stupid) at,

I am currently only interested in dancesports.

Perhaps most of my readers knew already from my previous posts.

I took Latin dance classes, and spent hundreds for my dance shoes.

Indeed, dancing is an international sport.

I have always wanted to continue dancing but due to transportation problem,

I had to cancel my plan.

I even emailed MY Dance Studio in Ipoh to arranged weekend classes,

pathetic enough it turned out that I am not free even during weekends.

There, the only sports I am interested in but no hope in doing it.

I thought that the money, the fees doesn't matter.

It turned out that the time matters more.

Now the only chance for me to do my favourite sport

is whenever I get back home.

How convenient it is to have dance studios nearby.

And I swear the only sweat I am comfortable in is the sweat after I dance.

How on Earth can someone be comfortable in sweat right. LOL

I cannot even watch videos on Facebook or Youtube.

Cause line got blocked and this "company violation" will appear.

I have the software to unblock them but even more

sad sad sad until cannot sadder is it cannot be use these few days :(

It would be a very awful sight to have sweat patches beneath your underarms.

My favourite surfing spot

I am quite an addict of the internet.

My family started of with a dial up modem, then changed to Streamyx.

And now we are using wireless at home since we have 2 laptops and a desktop.

After I entered Uni,

I spent most of my time using wireless.

However, the signal was initially so weak.

So most of us prefer to surf in the library,

or since the library is freezing cold, some prefer being outside of the library.

During those days,

the wireless signal was only strong in that area in which we call the Undercroft.

So even if it's miles away,

we did sacrificed for the internet.
And it was a great spot for DotA :)

After quite sometime,

we found out the usage of LAN wires in our room.

We asked for the configuration from the seniors and walla!

The speed is of course was faster using LAN cables.

Except that some sides are being blocked by the management,

which we have no problem accessing using a software called u95,

now we spend our time surfing 24/7 (at least for me) in our room!

10 reasons how my room is my favourite surfing spot :

1. I start and end my day by surfing

2. I eat and drink while surfing

3. I can study while surfing :D

4. I have a nice view ahead of me while surfing

5. I get to do my research in my room

6. I save time walking to the library

7. I can watch streaming movies or Youtube in my room

8. I get to download songs and blast them without complains

9. While waiting for the videos to load, I can visit my friends' rooms

10. I can go to the toilet anytime without fearing my laptop will be stolen :P
